First, grab your measuring tape as we are going to measure the diameter of your pipes.

Accurate measurements are crucial for selecting the correct label size. We'll cover five different pipe sizes from three quarter inch all the way to over ten inches. Our first pipe, typically from three quarter inch up to one and a quarter inch in diameter, you will wanna use a label size that's one inch wide by eight inches long. Make sure your font size is a half inch which is sufficient for clear visibility.

Apply the adhesive label evenly, making sure it adheres securely to the surface.

Next, pipes that are one and a half inch to two inches. You want the same size label, but increase the minimum letter height to three quarter inches.

For medium pipes ranging from two and a half inches to six inches in diameter, choose a label size that is at least two inches wide by twelve inches long with a font size of one and a quarter inches.

This size ensures your markings are visible from a distance.

Position the label carefully and press it down firmly to ensure a strong bond. For large pipes greater than six inches and up to ten inches in diameter, opt for a label size of three inches wide by twenty four inches long. Use a font size of at least two and a half inches to ensure readability even from afar.

Apply the label making sure it's centered and securely attached.

Any pipes over ten inches you will wanna use a four inch wide by thirty two inches long label with a minimum letter height of three and a half inches.
